A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF
VOUCHERS DRAWING ON FUNDS IN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ,
DEPOSITORIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That on and after the 27th day of June , 1966, all
withdrawals of funds from the City of Miami Beach
accounts in City Depositories described as follows :
THE MIAMI BEACH FIRST NATIONAL BANK
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Parking
Revenue Bond Fund"
"City of Miami Beach Parking
System Operation and Maintenance
Fund"
CITY NATIONAL BANK
Account designated: "City of Miami Beach"
MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach - Meter
Account"
"City of Miami Beach Firemen's
Relief and Pension Fund"
"City Pension Fund for Firemen
and Policemen in the City of
Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Payroll
Account"
JEFFERSON NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH
Account designated: "City of Miami Beach"
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH

shall be upon official vouchers duly prepared and bearing the
various designations as given above, each bearing two signatures,
as follows :
By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Raymond V. Shea, as Deputy City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Lurana Pohzehl, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned
By Robert H. Oldland, as City Manager
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By J. C . Duffield, as Assistant City Manager
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Ruth B. Rouleau, as Administrative Assistant
With the further provision as to the two accounts carried in
the Miami Beach First National Bank designated "City of Miami Beach, "
and "City of Miami Beach Parking System Operation and Maintenance
Fund", withdrawals from which shall be on printed checks designated
"City of Miami Beach", and "City of Miami Beach Parking System Opera-
tion and Maintenance Fund", each bearing the facsimile signaturasof
R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk, and Robert H. Oldland, as City
Manager, with the background and other identifying symbols as im-
1 printed on the sample checks attached hereto and made a part hereof.
And with the further provision as to the four accounts carried
in the Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "City of
Miami Beach", "City of Miami Beach - Meter Account", "City of Miami
Beach Firemen's Relief & Pension Fund" and "City of Miami Beach Pay-
roll Account", withdrawals from which shall be upon regular City of
Miami Beach checks, designated "City of Miami Beach", City of Miami
Beach - Meter Account", City of Miami Beach Firemen 's Relief &
Pension Fund" and "City of Miami Beach Payroll Account ", each bear-
ing two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature con-
sisting of the background and other identifying symbols and facsimile
signatures, as are imprinted on the sample checks attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
use said signature in connection with said accounts .
And with the further provision as to the account carried in
the Bank of Miami Beach designated "City Pension Fund for Firemen
and Policemen - Retirement Account", withdrawals of funds from which
shall be on printed checks designated "City Pension Fund for Firemen
and Policemen - Retirement Account", each bearing two signatures as
above set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of the back-
ground and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are
imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to use said signature in
connection with said account .

SECTION 2: That all withdrawals of funds from that certain City
of Miami Beach account in the MERCANTILE NATIONAL
BANK of Miami Beach, designated "OVERPAYMENT ACCOUNT", shall be
upon regular City of Miami Beach checks, designated "Overpayment
Account and which checks shall have plainly printed across the
face thereof the words "NOT GOOD FOR MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS", each bearing two signatures, as follows :
By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Lurana Pohzehl, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned
By Raymond V. Shea, as Chief Accountant,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Joseph Brooks, as Deputy City Clerk
SECTION 3 : That said BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, THE MIAMI BEACH FIRST
NATIONAL BANK, CITY NATIONAL BANK, JEFFERSON NATIONAL
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, and MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK are hereby
authorized and requested to accept, honor and pay without further
inquiry, and until delivery to it of written notice of the revo-
cation of the authority hereby granted, all checks and other
orders for the payment or withdrawal of money deposited with
said banks in the name of said City of Miami Beach, including
checks drawn to the individual order of the officers signing
same and including also all such instruments payable or endorsed
to the order of the City of Miami Beach, when such checks or
other orders for money shall be signed or endorsed in the name
of the City of Miami Beach by its officers hereinbefore named.
SECTION 4: That a certified copy hereof be delivered to each
City Depository.
