Resolution 11872 RESOLUTION NO. 11872 WHEREAS, the Florida Public Service Commission has issued certain for hire permits, hereinafter set forth, for "for hire" transportation; and WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Miami Beach has found and determined that the holders of said for hire permits are operating in violation of the provisions and conditions of said permits, by operating as common carriers, taxicabs and sightseeing buses; and WHEREAS, such violations are injurious and detrimental to the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Miami Beach; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to take such proceedings as shall be necessary before the Florida Public Service Commission to procure orders of the said Commission suspending or revoking the following Florida Public Service Commission for hire permits, to wit: Numbers 1114, 1129, 1216, 1262, 1323 and 1326.
