Resolution 12573 RESOLUTION NO. 12573
WHEREAS, the citizens of the United States of America by
exercise of their right of franchise have spoken in a clear voice ;
and
WHEREAS , as a result of the recently held Presidential
election, President-elect Richard M. Nixon and Vice-President elect
Spiro Agnew have received sufficient electoral votes to meet con-
stitutional requirements to be declared the victors; and
WHEREAS , President-elect Richard M. Nixon and Vice-Presi-
dent-elect Spiro Agnew will lead this nation for the next four
years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it extends its
heartiest congratulations and best wishes to President-elect Nixon
and Vice-President-elect Agnew on their election victory and
upcoming inauguration.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of November , 1968 .
