RESOLUTION NO. 11900
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering the locating and fixing of a bulkhead
line off-shore from the following described parcels of land,
to wit:
Lots 332 to 345, inclusive, of First
Ocean Front Subdivision, according to the
amended plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
9, page 78 of the public records of Dade
County, Florida;
Lots 1 to 19, inclusive, in Block 2 of
Second Ocean Front Subdivision, according
to the amended plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 28, at page 28 of the public records of
Dade County, Florida;
- and -
Tract 3 of "THE BATH CLUB PROPERTY", according
to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 40,
at page 14 of the public records of Dade County,
Florida;
said parcels of land bordering on Indian Creek, the same constituting
navigable waters, as defined in Section 253.12, Florida Statutes;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is authorized, under the provisions of Section 253.122,
Florida Statutes, 1965, to locate and fix such bulkhead line upon
its own initiative, provided that a public hearing is held
pursuant to the provisions of said Section 253.122;
NOW1 THEREFORE, BE IT DULY M3SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH; FLORIDA, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on the 24thday of
August , 1966, at 10:00b'clock A. M, in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the purpose of
determining whether a bulkhead line in Indian Creek off-shore
from the parcels of land hereinabove described shall be fixed
and located as follows:
Begin at the northwest corner of Section
14, Township 53 South, Range 42 East of the
Tallahassee Meridian, thence run north
88°18'00" East, 2440.69 feet to a point;
thence run south 0045 '30" West, 3057. 32
feet to a point; thence run south 8015 ' 30"
west, 300.00 feet to a point; thence run

westerly corner of said Lot 231 measured
along the said westerly production of the north-
erly line of said Lot 231;

of the public records of Dade County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to give thirty days ' notice
of the time, place and object of said hearing, by public
notice thereof to be published for three consecutive weeks
in the Miami News, a newspaper of general circulation in
Dade County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH; FLORIDA, that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to send copies of such
notice by certified or registered mail to each riparian
owner of upland lying within 1, 000 feet of the said proposed
bulkhead line.
