Resolution 12591 RESOLUTION NO. 12591
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach has received a
commitment of a Federal Grant in the amount of $350,000.00 for
Water Project WS-Fla-157 ; and
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach took bids for the
above Project at 10:00 a.m. , December 3, 1968; and
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach has requested DHUD
to participate with the $350,000.00 Federal Grant in Parts A,
C, and D only and
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach agrees to provide
the required funds with the Federal Grant of $350,000.00 to
fund the above Projects , Parts A, C, and D only.
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it does hereby
tentatively award subject to DHUD approval Part A "30"
Transmission Main Venetian Causeway" to the low bidder meeting
specifications, Joe Reinertson Equipment Company in the amount
of $662,882.00; Part C "Addition to Pine Tree Drive Water
Pumping Station' to the low bidder meeting specifications ,
S. L, Hamilton, Inc . , in the amount of $126,575 .00; and Part D,
"Central Control System" to the low bidder meeting specifica-
tions, Lowry Electric Co. , Inc . , in the amount of $91,793.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Miami Beach
agrees to provide such additional funds as may be required
to complete Parts A, C, and D, only, together with the Federal
Grant of $350,000.00.
