Resolution 12603 RESOLUTION NO. 12603
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Standing Committee
be and the same is hereby created, to be known as the
Parks and Recreation Committee. Said Committee shall
be comprised of three Councilmen to be appointed by
the Mayor, to serve for a period of one year, and a
representative of the Public Works Director, to be
designated by and to serve at the will of said Committee.
The Parks and Recreation Director shall be and serve
as a member - ex officio.
The powers and jurisdiction of said Committee
shall be to consider, in the first instance, all matters
relating to the maintenance of existing, and the
acquisition or extension of the parks and recreation
facilities of the City, and to make recommendations
thereon to the City Council, and related matters.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, 1969.
