Resolution 11925 RESOLUTION NO. 11925
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA as follows :
SECTION 1: That that portion of "Question One" as set forth in
Sections 1, 4, 8 and 9 of Resolution No. 11921 which
provides for the appointment of two Associate Judges be and the
same is hereby amended so as to provide for the appointment of
one Associate Judge.
SECTION 2: That "Question Three" of said Sections of said Reso-
lution be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto a provision that "Sales of food and beverages involving a
sum of less than One Dollar ($1.00) shall be wholly exempt from
the tax authorized by said amendment. "
SECTION 3: That "Question Six" setting forth the manner of ob-
taining signatures to petitions for Charter Amend-
ments as set forth in said Sections of said Resolution be and the
same is hereby deleted from said Resolution.
SECTION 4: That by reason of the deletion of "Question Six",
Questions numbered Seven, Eight and Nine as the same
presently appear in said Resolution No. 11921 be and the same are
hereby respectively renumbered Six, Seven and Eight.
SECTION 5: That Sections 1, 4, 8 and 9 of said Resolution No.
11921 be and the same are hereby amended to set forth
a new "Question" to be numbered and to read as follows:
"QUESTION NINE: Shall the City Charter be
amended so as to provide for
a Municipal Judge and two Associate Judges to
be appointed by the City Council and to hold
office at the will of the Council, and whose
salary shall be fixed by ordinance. This pro-
vision, if approved, shall supersede anything
to the contrary in the amendment proposed by
"Question One" .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that said Resolution No. 11921, as hereby
amended, is hereby ratified and approved.
