SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications(RFQ) No.2019-016-KB,for
Surveying and Mapping Services
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2019-016-KB, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified
firm(s) for surveying and mapping services required to complete certain capital projects.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFQ on Monday, December 10, 2018.The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Brian Bellino, City Surveyor Manager, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
• Carla Dixon, Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Projects Department,
City of Miami Beach
• Pedro Fuentes, Civil Engineer II, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
• Nestor Navarro, GIS Manager, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
• Giancarlo Pena, Civil Engineer III, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Eugene Egemba, Civil Engineer III, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
• Jose Rivas, Civil Engineer III, Public Works Engineering, City of Miami Beach
• Olga Sanchez, Capital Projects Coordinator,Capital Improvement Projects Department, City
