A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH COMMENDING EFFORTS OF
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY AND THE UNITED
STATES COAST GUARD IN CLEANING UP OIL
SPILLS FROM BEACHES IN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, for itself and each member thereof, and
for and on behalf of the citizens , residents and inhabitants
of the City of Miami Beach, that official recognition of the
efforts of Metropolitan Dade County and the United States
Coast Guard in cleaning up oil spills from the beaches of
the City of Miami Beach is hereby taken by the said City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that they, collectively and
individually, extend to Metropolitan Dade County and the United
States Coast Guard their appreciation for their said efforts in
such emergency situation, and express their highest possible
commendation to the personnel of said Metropolitan Dade County
and the United States Coast Guard participating in the exemplary
performance of public duty and service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a certified copy of this
Resolution be transmitted to the appropriate officials of
Metropolitan Dade County and the United Sta es Coast Guard.
