A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 12204
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A MIAMI BEACH YOUTH
COMMISSION, PRESCRIBING ITS DUTIES AND
PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF APPOINTMENT AND
TERM OF OFFICE OF ITS MEMBERS , SO AS TO
ELIMINATE REQUIREMENT THAT A MEMBER BE A DULY
QUALIFIED VOTER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That Paragraph 2 of Resolution No. 12204 , be amended to read
as follows :
2 . Each member of the Youth Commission shall
be a resident of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and shall possess a record of
interest in the welfare and betterment of the
City; each shall have demonstrated unselfish
devotion to civic duty, and the membership
as a whole shall be representative of the
business , philanthropic and educational life
of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 1974 .
