A RESOLUTION, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF
REVISED OFFER BY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION •
AGENCY OF FEDERAL GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$684 , 000 FOR DESIGN WORK FOR SEWAGE
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING
CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO
EXECUTE GRANT AGREEMENT THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it hereby accepts the revised offer
made by the Environmental Protection Agency of a Federal Grant
in the amount of $684 ,000 for Design Work for the Sewage
Transmission System, said Program being designated Grant No.
C120491010 and entitled Wastewater Treatment Construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Frank R. Spence, as City
Manager of the City of Miami Beach, be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute an appropriate Grant Agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Miami Beach and to take all steps
necessary or required for the obtaining of such grant.
