Mosley, Isaiah MOSLEY, Isaiah This page is intentionally left blank Letter of Interest I have had the privilege to work in the environmental profession as a Senior Environmental Scientist, specializing in water resources, and a Stormwater Management Inspector in the South Florida area for a number of years. With this experience, I have recognized a desperate need for input from the scientific community on the decisions being made at the local level. Our City of Miami Beach has developed a $500 million dollar plan for mitigating the effects of sea level rise on our community, yet we do not have anyone with a scientific background serving as a City Commissioner. I have the educational background, and more importantly, the professional experience to effectively recognize the areas in which we need to focus our sea level rise mitigation efforts, and the potential environmental impacts that may result from the implementation of the existing plan.
