Resolution 75-14624 RESOLUTION NO. 75-14624 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SOUTH BEACH AREA TO BE A "BLIGHTED AREA" PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES, CHAPTER 163, PART III, AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF THE REHABILITATION, CONSERVATION AND REDEVELOP- MENT OF THE SOUTH BEACH AREA. BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that area of the City of Miami Beach which is bounded by Sixth Street on the north, Biscayne Bay on the west, the Atlantic Ocean on the east and Government Cut on the south is hereby found and declared to be a "blighted area, '' as defined by and within the purposes and intent of Florida Statutes, Chapter 163, Part III. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the rehabilitation , conservation, or redevelopment, or a combination thereof, of the above-described ' area is necessary in the interest of the public health, safety, morals, or welfare of the residents of the City of Miami Beach.
