A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
LEASE FOR OFFICE SPACE IN 940 LINCOLN
ROAD BUILDING FOR DIVISION OF RENT CONTROL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
desires to lease office space in the 940 Lincoln Road Building,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the administration and operation of
the Division of Rent Control of the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease has been prepared, which
has been approved as to form by the City Attorney, a copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the terms of
which are familiar to the City Council, and
WHEREAS , the City Manager has recommended to the City
Counc=il that said lease be entered into, and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it in the best interest of the City and its residents
that said lease be executed and delivered;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said lease, in the terms set forth there-
in, for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
