SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals(RFP)No.2019-021-ND Automated
Meter Reading/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMR/AMI)System
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2019-021-ND,for the implementation of an Automated Meter Reading/Advanced
Metering Infrastructure (AMR/AMI) System. On October 18, 2018 the City Commission approved the
issuance of the RFP that included the Evaluation Committee members appointed by the City Manager.
However, itis necessaryto make changes to the Evaluation Committee in order to include a member that
is most knowledgeable about the City's information technology infrastructure.
I am now considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Luis Caballero, Metered Services Supervisor, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Rodolfo De La Torre, Assistant Director, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Manny Marquez, Assistant Director, Finance Department, City of Miami Beach
• Frank Quintana, IT Division Director, Information Technology Department, City of Miami Beach
• Luis Soto,Acting City Engineer, Public Works Department, Engineering Division, City of Miami
Beach
• Ana Zecchini, IT Applications Division Director, Information Technology Department, City of
Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Carlos Cuervo, Water Meter Supervisor, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
•, Lys Desir,Water and Sewer Superintendent, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
