A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH AND INTERNATIONAL READING ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a Lease
Agreement with INTERNATIONAL READING ASSOCIATION, dated January
15, 1975, and
WHEREAS, INTERNATIONAL READING ASSOCIATION has re-
, quested an amendment to said existing lease agreement to provide
that they release May 8, 1977 as the move out date in the South
Hall only of the Miami Beach Convention Center, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, a letter, signed by the Executive Director of
the Miami Beach Convention Center, dated January 15, 1976,. amending
the existing agreement between INTERNATIONAL READING ASSOCIATION
and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH has been mailed to and accepted by
INTERNATIONAL READING ASSOCIATION;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter dated January 15,
1976, signed by the Executive Director of the Miami Beach Convention
Center, amending the existing agreement between INTERNATIONAL
READING ASSOCIATION and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH beLand the same
is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said
CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March , 1976.
