A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACT WITH ASTOR-WHITE ELECTRIC FOR FURNISHING
OF ELECTRICAL SERVICES IN THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER, MARCH 5-12 , 1976 , FOR THE ASSOCIATION OF
OPERATING ROOM NURSES.
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
ASTOR-WHITE ELECTRIC, a division of
WHITE ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
desires to furnish electrical services for certain premises and
facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to wit:
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
during the event known as :
•
ASSOCIATION OF OPERATING ROOM NURSES
on
MARCH 5-12 , 1976
(AFTER THE FACT)
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared by
the Executive Director of the Convention Center and approved as
to form by the City Attorney, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the Said agreement and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above-described agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Executive Director of the Convention Center is hereby authorized
and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions under •
-
taken therein by the City.
