A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTING THE
DADE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION TO ESTABLISH A
DADE COUNTY FINANCIAL STUDY COMMISSION TO
STUDY A QUESTION OF DOUBLE TAXATION.
WHEREAS, the Budget Advisory Committee recommends
requesting the Dade Legislative Delegation to establish a Dade
County Financial Study Commission to study ongoing question of
double taxation regarding municipal service area funding; and;
WHEREAS, making the request will not hurt but could only
help the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the City request the Dade Legislative Delegation to
establish a Dade County Financial Study Commission to consider
issue of double taxation.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1976.
