RESOLUTION NO. 76-14_998
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION .NO. 75-14672
BY EXTENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TARGET
AREA DESCRIBED IN SAID RESOLUTION NO.
75-14672 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Resolution No . 75-14672, adopted by
the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on March
19 , 1975, be and the same is hereby amended by adding to the
area described in said Resolution No. 75-14672 the following
area, to wit: Census Tract 42 , that is to say, that certain
tract of land within the City of Miami Beach bounded on the
North by 23rd Street, bounded on the East by the Atlantic Ocean,
bounded by 15th Street on the South to Dade Boulevard, and
bounded on the West by Biscayne Bay; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the rehabilitation, conservation,
or redevelopment, or a combination thereof, of the above-
described areas, is necessary in the interest of the public
health, safety, morals, or welfare of the residents of the City
of Miami Beach; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said areas are hereby found, determined
and designated as being appropriate for a Community Development
Program authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974 .
