A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMPLOYMENT OF TWO
SUBSTITUTE PART-TIME MEDICAL DOCTORS FOR
FIRE RESCUE DIVISION OF CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has been advised that it is necessary, for the efficient operation
of the Fire Rescue Division of the City of Miami Beach Fire Depart-
ment, to employ two part-time medical doctors for said Fire Rescue
Division; said part-time medical doctors to be employed as
substitutes for the':full-timeErphysicians presently employed by
the City of Miami Beach Fire Rescue Division; said substitute
medical doctors to serve during the authorized absences of the
full-time doctors employed by the said Fire Rescue Division, and
WHEREAS , the City Council has further been advised by .
the City Manager and the Chief of the Fire Department of the City
of Miami Beach that the employment of the said part-time medical
doctors will not result in additional cost to the City in view
of the fact that they will be receiving the compensation normally
payable to the full-time medical physician, during their substitute
service, and
WHEREAS, the employment of Lester Barreras , M.D. and
Rosendo Luis Criollos, M.D. , has been recommended for appointment .
for such part-time substitute medical doctors; .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Lester Barreras , M.D. and
Rosendo Luis Criollos, M.D. , be and they are hereby authorized
to be employed as part-time medical doctors , serving on a
substitute basis, at no additional cost to the City of Miami Beach.
