A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACT WITH EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES,
INC. , FOR THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
FOR "HOBBY-DO IT YOURSELF" SHOW, APRIL 30-MAY 2,
1976, IN SOUTH HALL OF MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
desires to furnish electrical services for certain premises and
facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
during the event known as :
"HOBBY - DO IT YOURSELF" SHOW
on
APRIL 30 - MAY 2 , 1976
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared by
the Executive Director ofthe Convention Center and approved as
to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agreement and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
executionof the said agreement ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above-described agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Executive Director of the Convention Center is hereby authorized
and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions under-
taken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of May , 1976.
