A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. , dated July 12, 1977,
and
WHEREAS, said DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. has requested
an amendment to said existing lease agreement to provide that they
will now use the South Hall of the Miami Beach Convention Center
on the following dates instead of those stipulated in the existing •
lease agreement:
March 27-29, 1978 Move In
March 30-April 1, 1978 to noon Show
April 1, 1978, noon to
Midnight, .April 2, 1978 Move Out
and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated December 15, 1977, amending the
existing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and DISCOUNT
MANAGEMENT, INC. has been mailed to and accepted by said DISCOUNT
MANAGEMENT, INC. ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated December 15, 1977, signed by the Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement
between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. be and
the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf
of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of January , 1978 .
