A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
AND MIAMI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW FOR USE
OF MUNICIPAL OFF-STREET PARKING LOT 5E
FROM FEBRUARY 17, 1978 THROUGH MARCH 2, 1978 .
WHEREAS, the Miami International Boat Show has requested
permission to lease 197 parking spaces in Municipal Off-Street
Parking Lot 5E, located immediately west of the Miami Beach Con-
vention Center Complex, for a period of fourteen days from February
17, 1978 through March 2, 1978, at a rental rate of $3 . 00 per day
for each space, for the purpose of additional boat display area,
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of the City that such Agreement be entered into by and
between the City and Miami International Boat Show, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate
lease agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, the terms of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver said lease for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
