A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND MIAMI BEACH MUSIC AND ARTS
LEAGUE.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with MIAMI BEACH MUSIC AND ARTS LEAGUE, dated April 6,
1977, and
WHEREAS, said MIAMI BEACH MUSIC AND ARTS LEAGUE has
requested an amendment to said existing lease agreement to provide
that they will add the date of February 7 , 1978 for setup and/or
rehearsal from 9: 00 a.m. to 11: 00 p.m. in the Theater of the Per-
forming Arts, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, except the terms and considera-
tion for use of the Theater shall be amended as follows:
One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) is due and
payable upon signing of this lease amendment,
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated January 24 , 1978, amending the
existing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and MIAMI BEACH
MUSIC AND ARTS LEAGUE has been mailed to and accepted by said
MIAMI BEACH MUSIC AND ARTS LEAGUE;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated January 24 , 1978, signed by the Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement
between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and MIAMI BEACH MUSIC AND ARTS
LEAGUE be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name
of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of February , 1978 .
