A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC. , dated November 4,
1976, and
WHEREAS, said HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC. has requested
an amendment to said existing lease agreement to provide that they
will release the dates of September 1 through 6, 1978 and instead
will use the dates of September 7 through 13, 1978 as follows:
September 7 - 9, 1978 Move In
September 10 - 13, 1978 to 3 p.m.- Show
September 13, 1978 to Midnight Move Out
and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, except the terms and consideration
for use of the facilities for the Fall Show shall be changed to:
Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000. 00) payable on
or before June 7, 1978; Four Thousand Dollars
($4, 000. 00) payable on or before July 7, 1978;
balance due on September 1978 show payable on
or before 5: 00 p.m. , September 20, 1978,
and
WHEREAS, a letter, signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated January 18, 1978, amending the
existing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and HELEN BRETT
ENTERPRISES, INC. has been mailed to and accepted by said HELEN
BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC. ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated January 18, 1978, signed by the Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement
between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC.
be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and
on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of February , 1978 .
