A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND NATIONAL SOLID WASTES MANAGE-
MENT ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with NATIONAL SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION, dated
February 8, 1977, and
WHEREAS, said NATIONAL SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
has requested an amendment to said existing lease agreement to
provide that they will use the following dates instead of the dates
stipulated in the aforementioned contract:
April 30 - May 2, 1978 Move In
May 3 - 5, 1978 Show
May 6 - 8, 1978 Move Out
' and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, a letter, signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated January 25, 1978, amending the
existing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and NATIONAL
SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION has been mailed to and accepted
by said NATIONAL SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated January 25, 1978, signed by the Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement
between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and NATIONAL SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the
name of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of February , 1978 .
