A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL, dated September 17, 1976,
and
WHEREAS, said KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL has requested an
amendment to said existing lease agreement to provide that they
will use Meeting Rooms 208 and 210 in the South Hall of the Miami
Beach Convention Center for offices, May 25-June 24 , 1978 , at no
cost to it, including air conditioning and house lights, in addi-
tion to the said lease agreement, and has further requested that
they be furnished with air conditioning during move in at no cost
to it, June 21-24, 1978, and move out, June 29-30, 1978 in the
' North and South Halls and all Meeting Rooms, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
lease agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, a letter, signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated February 10, 1978, amending the
existing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and KIWANIS
INTERNATIONAL has been mailed to and accepted by said KIWANIS
INTERNATIONAL;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated February 10, 1978, signed by the Direc-
tor of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement
between the CITY OF MIAMI. BEACH and KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL be and
the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and on
behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March , 1978 .
