A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND D. S. CLARKE.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease i
agreement with D. S. CLARKE, dated January 28, 1977 , which provides
for the use of the South Hall of the Miami Beach Convention Center
by the said D. S . CLARKE for the event known as "Antique Show"
on February 1 through 10, 1978 and January 31 through February 9 ,
1979 , and
WHEREAS, said D. S. CLARKE has requested an addendum to
said agreement whereby the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH will not allow the
performance of any other Antique Show in the facility for a period
of One Hundred Sixty (160) days, (80 days before and 80 days after
' said event) , and -
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate addendum, signed by the said D. S.
CLARKE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the
City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the addendum to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is hereby
accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March , 1978 .
