A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION, dated
December 19 , 1973, amended June 3, 1977, and
WHEREAS, said NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION
has requested an amendment to said existing lease agreement to
provide that they will change the dates stipulated in the above
agreement and will now use the following dates in the Miami Beach
Convention Center:
North Hall
October 12-14, 1978 Move In (Commencing at 8 : 00
(a.m. , October 12,
October 15-17, 1978 Show (1978 and terminating
(at 12 : 00 midnight,
October 18, 1978 Move Out (October 18, 1978 .
South Hall
October 14 , 1978 Move In (Commencing at 8: 00
(a.m. , October 14,
October 15-18, 1978 Meetings (1978 and terminating
(at 12 : 00 midnight,
October 18, 1978 Move Out (October 18, 1978 .
North & South Hall Meeting Rooms
October 15-18, 1978 Meetings (Commencing at 8: 00
(a.m. , October 15,
(1978 and terminating
(at 12 : 00 midnight,
(October 18, 1978;
and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and -
WHEREAS, a letter, signed by the Director of the Miami
Beach Convention Center, dated February 6, 1978, amending the exist-
ing agreement between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and NATIONAL RECREATION
AND PARK ASSOCIATION has been mailed to and accepted by said NATIONAL
RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set
forth in said letter dated February 6, 1978, signed by the Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement between ,
the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION
be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and
on behalf of said CITY.
