A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
WITH ALBERT ROSEN ASSOCIATES, TO PROVIDE CON-
SULTANT SERVICES AND PREPARATION OF A HOUSING
AND LAND USE DATA SYSTEM FOR CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
on January 18, 1978 , authorized the entrance into negotiations with
Albert Rosen Associates to provide consultant services and prepara-
tion of a Housing Land Use Data System for the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and
WHEREAS, such negotiations were conducted and an appro-
priate proposal and contract have been prepared by the City Attorney
for the provisions of such services, and
WHEREAS, the duties of said Consultant shall be as fully
set forth in the Proposal attached to and made a part of said agree-
ment as Attachment 1, and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that Albert Rosen and
Associates be engaged for a fee of $15, 000 for a period of 14 weeks
which shall commence as soon as practical by the parties, to be
expended from funds available for such purpose as further set forth
in said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said agreement be and the
same is hereby approved and the appropriate officers of said City
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
