A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND DIVINE LIGHT MISSION
CHURCH.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with DIVINE LIGHT MISSION CHURCH, dated March 16, 1978,
which provides for the use of the North Hall and North and South
Hall Wraparound of the Miami Beach Convention Center for the event
known as "Spiritual Meetings" on April 4 through 10, 1978,_ and
WHEREAS, said DIVINE LIGHT MISSION CHURCH has requested
an addendum to said agreement whereby they will use the South Hall
Wraparound of the Miami Beach Convention Center for an additional
two (2) days, more particularly April 10 and 11, 1978 between the
hours of 8 : 00 a.m. to Midnight with eight (8) hours air condition-
ing, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, except that an additional sum of
One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200 . 00) based on Six Hundred
Dollars ($600. 00) per day shall be payable on signing of this
addendum, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate addendum, signed by the said
DIVINE LIGHT MISSION CHURCH and approved as to form and legal
sufficiency by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, the provisions of which are familiar to the City
Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the addendum to the existing
lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is hereby accepted
and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
