A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND 195 BROADWAY CORPORATION,
A NEW YORK CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with 195 BROADWAY CORPORATION, A NEW YORK CORPORATION,
dated August 9, 1977, which provides for the use of the North and
South Halls of the Miami Beach Convention Center, including all
meeting rooms, for the event known as the annual meeting of share-
holders of American Telephone and Telegraph Company together with
related exhibits, April 14 through 20, 1978, and
WHEREAS, said 195 BROADWAY CORPORATION, A NEW YORK COR-
PORATION has requested an amendment to said agreement whereby they
will use April 18, 1978 as an Open House day rather than a move in
day at a cost of Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000 . 00) instead of One
Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) in the South Hall of the Miami Beach
Convention Center, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, except that out-of-pocket expenses
shall be paid by the said Lessee for labor to remove and reset chairs
for laying of rugs in the North Hall of the Miami Beach Convention
Center, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate amendment, signed by the said
195 BROADWAY CORPORATION, A NEW YORK CORPORATION and approved as
to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney, is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, the provisions of which are familiar
to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is hereby
accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
