A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMEND-
MENT TO AGREEMENT WITH DR. LEO GROSSMAN FOR THE
PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES AS CITY PHYSICIAN FOR AN
ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS EXPIRING JULY
10, 1983 WITH COMPENSATION TO BE INCREASED FROM
$22 , 500 PER ANNUM TO $25, 000 PER ANNUM.
WHEREAS, the existing agreement between the City of
Miami Beach and Dr. Leo Grossman for the performance of the duties
of City Physician as set forth therein expires on July 10, 1978,
and
WHEREAS, the City and said Physician mutually desire to
extend said agreement for an additional period of five (5) years
ending on July 10, 1983 with the rate and manner of compensation
' of $25, 000 per annum, payable in equal biweekly amounts of $957 . 85,
and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been pre-
pared accordingly by the City Attorney, and the City Commission
being familiar with the terms thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it is in the
best interests of the City and its citizens that said amendatory
agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said amenda-
tory agreement and the finance officers of the City be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to make the payments thereby required.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 1978 .
