A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM, dated March 29, 1978, which
provides for the use of the Theater of the Performing Arts of
the Miami Beach Convention Center, for the event known as one
concert and one rehearsal, commencing January 13, 1979 through
January 14, 1979, and
WHEREAS, said TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM has requested an amend-
ment to said agreement whereby they will use the Theater on January
13, 1979 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m. instead of 8 :00 a.m. to 2: 00
p.m. , and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate amendment, signed by the said
TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is
hereby accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said
CITY.
