A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. , dated July 12, 1977 ,
amended December 15, 1977 , which provides for the use of the North
Hall of the Miami Beach Convention Center, for the event known as
Merchant's Buying Syndicate Trade Show, commencing October 3, 1978
through October 9, 1978, and
WHEREAS, said DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. has requested an
amendment to said agreement whereby they will use the North Hall
of the Miami Beach Convention Center as follows:
Oct. 2-4, 1978---Move In ) Commencing at 8 : 00 a.m. , Oct.
Oct. 5-7, 1978---Show ) 2, 1978 and terminating 12 : 00
Oct. 8, 1978 Move Out) midnight, Oct. 8, 1978 .
and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate amendment, signed by the said
DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT, INC. and approved as to form and legal suffi-
ciency by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is hereby
accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of May , 1978 .
