A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL FUNDING AND EXTENSION OF TIME
UNDER STATE HEALTH AND REHABILITATIVE SER-
VICES RETARDATION PROGRAM GRANT.
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared to extend the
contract between the City and the State of Florida Department of
Health and Rehabilitative Services, Retardation Program office,
providing for funding of the City' s retardation program, and
WHEREAS, the last agreement term was from October 1,
1977 through June 30, 1978 and provided funding to the City in the
amount of $56, 250, the City providing 12 1/2% matching funds, and
WHEREAS, an agreement will be extended for an additional
three months to serve 25 clients with additional funding in the
amount of $18,750;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the extension and additional
funding offer is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized
to execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
