A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND MARY HANSEN, COMMUNITY DEVELOP-
MENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONSULTANT.
WHEREAS, the Community Development Supervisor resigned
effective June 30, 1978; and
WHEREAS, Mary Hansen has been the Technical Assistance
Consultant to Community Development under a Professional Services
Agreement with the City dated January 18, 1978; and
WHEREAS, Mary Hansen has performed her duties under the
existing agreement in an exemplary manner; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for Mary Hansen to assume
new and additional responsibilities and duties until a new
, Community Development Supervisor is employed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Professional Services
Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and Mary Hansen be and is
hereby amended as follows:
The duties of the Technical Assistance Consultant shall
additionally include coordination of the Citizen Partici-
pation Plan and its implementation; activities necessary
to implement Third and Fourth Year Community Development
funded projects; communication with the Department of 0
Housing and Urban Development regarding the Community
Development program; and provision of any other technical
assistance which the Planning Department Director may deem
necessary as relative to these projects and those stated
in the original agreement.
The hourly pay rate shall be nine and 00/100 Dollars ($9.00)
not to exceed Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) for total
remuneration under this agreement.
The hours of employment shall be under the direction and
approval of the Planning Department Director.

All other terms of the original agreement will remain in
effect.
