A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CREATION AND MAIN-
TENANCE OF AN IMPREST CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR
SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION WITH INTERCONTINENTAL
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 76-15077.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the creation
of an "Imprest Checking Account for Social Services Division" with
the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach, in the amount of $2, 000 . 00 ,
for the purpose of making payments for assistance to the needy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. An imprest checking account in the amount of
$2, 000 be established at the Intercontinental
Bank of Miami Beach.
2. That the three following employees be
authorized to sign assistance payment check
and that two signatures be required on each
check:
(a) Bernard Baron
(b) Loretta Wein
(c) Mayda Diaz
3. That the maximum amount to be paid by such
checks be $25.
4. That a full accounting be rendered by the
Social Services Division each time reimburse-
ment of the imprest checking account is
requested.
5. That checks be prepared to create two record-
keeping and auditing copies.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Resolution No. 76-15077, adopted
on the 7th day of July, 1976, be and the same is hereby rescinded.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1978.
