ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PERSONNEL BOARD PRIMARY ELECTION,} _.'—
GROUP 1 EMPLOYEES, HELDON JULY 18, _ 1978.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Clerk and Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held
on July 18, 1978 , for the purpose of electing a Regular
member from Group I of the City employees to serve on
the Personnel Board; and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said
returns and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of said City that it hereby adopts said Certificate as the
result of said Primary Election, and does hereby declare the
member from Group I elected to the Personnel Board, as
follows:
GROUP I HOKE JENKINS (Elected by
69 Votes
out of 136
cast, being a clear,
majority at the
Primary Election)

We0 the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify,
in duplicate, that we held and conducted a Primary Election of the
members of Group 1 of the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
inCity Hall , 1700 Convention Center Drive
on MY y 18, 1978 , for the purpose of nominating two
candidates for the Personnel Board Election to be held on .'
July 25, 1978 ; that at the close of the polls we
proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots, and found
'the result of said Primary Election as conducted by us to be as
