Resolution 78-15691 RESOLUTION NO. 78-15691 A RESOLUTION AMENDING APPROPRIATE SECTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO, 78-15687, PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST 2, 1978, INCLUDING THE TITLE THEREOF, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF AN ADDITIONAL QUESTION RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF PARKING REVENUE BONDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,000,000, TO THE ELEC- TORATE ON OCTOBER 5, 1978. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1 : That the title of said Resolution NQ,78-15687, and all appro-:.. priate sections thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as to provide for the placing on the ballot of said special election to be held on October 5, 1978, an additional question to be numbered Question No. 2 to read as follows: QUESTION NO. 2: "SHALL the City of Miami Beach, Florida, issue Parking Revenue bonds in the amount of $6,000,000, with interest at a rate to be here- after determined, not exceeding ten percent (10%) per annum, the ,maximum permitted by law, for the purpose of paying the cost of acquiring addi- tional automobile parking facilities and of equipping and improving park- ing facilities for the City of Miami Beach (automobile parking facilities being defined as any lot or lots, buildings and structures, above, at, or below the surface of the street or earth, either on the street or off the street, or both, including parking meters, equipment, entrances, exits, fencing, and all other accessories necessary or desirable for the regulation, control , and the parking of vehicles either on the street , or off the street) , for the following designated areas, but not limited thereto: Arthur Godfrey Road Business District; Lincoln Road Mall ; Washington Avenue Commercial Area; Collins Avenue Area? Said bonds shall be secured by the pledge of and payable solely from the net revenues of any one or more, or any combination of the City's auto- mobile parking facilities."
