ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PENSION BOARD PRIMARY ELECTION,
GROUP 3 EMPLOYEES, HELD ON AUGUST 28. 1978
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk and
Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on
August 28, 1978 , for the purpose of electing a Trustee of the
General Employees' Retirement System from Group 3 of the
employees of the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
said City that it hereby adopts the said Certificate as the result
of said Primary Election, and does hereby declare the member from
Group 3 elected, for a 3-year term, as Trustee of the Miami
Beach Retirement System for General Employees, as follows:

We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, doher-eby certify, in
duplicate, that we held and conducted a Primary Election of the members
of Group 3 of the employees of the City of Miami Beach, on
August 28. 1978 , at City Hall , 1700 Convention Center Drive
for the purpose of nominating two candidates for the Pension Board
Election to to be held on September 5, 1978 ; that at the close of
the polls we proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots, and
found the result of said Primary Election as conducted by us to be as
follows, which result we then publicly proclaimed.
That for candidates, for Member of the Pension Board to represent
' Group 3 , the following were nominated:
