A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO THE FLORIDA MEMBERS
OF THE FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES PETITION
ING AND URGING THEIR COLLECTIVE SUPPORT TO HOUSE
OF REPRESENTATIVES BILL 2852 (ANTI-RECESSION
FISCAL ASSISTANCE BILL) .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, for and on behalf of itself, and its citizens and
residents, that each Congressional Representative from the State of
Florida be and he is hereby strongly urged and respectfully petition-
ed to consider favorably and to vote in the affirmative on the House
of Representatives Bill 2852 (Anti-Recession Fiscal Assistance
Bill) , and to exert every power of persuasion upon their fellow
Congressmen to vote in the like manner in support of said Bill.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the enactment of said Bill into law is
a matter of the greatest and most vital importance to the economic
welfare and well-being of the City of Miami Beach, its citizens and
residents, not only directly, but indirectly through the beneficial
and ameliorative effects of such legislation upon the entire National
economy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that certified copies of this Resolution be
transmitted to each Honorable Member of the House of Representatives
from the State of Florida as follows (listed alphabetically) :
