RESOLUTION NO. 78-15746
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED OF LOT 4 , BLOCK 12 ISLAND
VIEW SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS , the Miami Beach Post of the American Legion was
deeded Lot 4 , Block 12 Island View Subdivision by the City of Miami
Beach in 1942 , and
WHEREAS, the American Legion has sold the said property
to Harold Nass who is unable to obtain title insurance because of
a technical defect in the 1942 deed, and
WHEREAS, the American Legion has requested the City to
execute a quit claim deed to the said property to Harold Nass, the
form of which is attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the transaction
' and advised that the request is proper;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver said quit
claim deed.
PASSED and ADOPTED THIS 18th day of October, 1978 .
