RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND THE GREATER MIAMI INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with the GREATER MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL,
dated September 13, 1978 , and
•
WHEREAS, said GREATER MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
has requested an amendment to said existing lease agreement to
provide that they will add Saturday, November 11, 1978 from 8 :00 a.m.
to 6 :00 p.m. to the dates stipulated in the above-mentioned lease
agreement at a cost of One Thousand and no/100 ($1, 000. 00) Dollars
on twelve (12%) per cent of. gross receipts from sale of admission
tickets, after taxes, whicheversum is greater; said payment of One
Thousand and no/100 ($1,000. 00) Dollars is due upon signing of the
. Amendment to Agreement, and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate amendment, signed by the said
GREATER MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and approved as to form
and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, the provisions of which are familiar to the
City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth herein be and the same is hereby
accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
