A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION
OF SAID CITY FOR THE ASSISTANCE THAT JACK TAYLOR
HAS LENT THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SAID CITY IN
CONNECTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BUILDING
KNOWN AS REBECCA TOWERS NORTH.
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has recently acquired a 200-unit Housing for the Elderly
Project built under the terms of Section 8 of the United States
Housing Act of 1937, and
WHEREAS, there is no one person to whom the City of
Miami Beach owes more for their effort and contribution
toward the acquisition of said Project, and
WHEREAS, the entire City of Miami Beach and its residents
are particularly grateful and appreciative of the efforts and
contributions of said JACK TAYLOR,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that each and every
Commission member', singularly and as a body, do hereby
express their gratitude and appreciation for the contribu-
tions of JACK TAYLOR in making the Rebecca Towers North
Project which was so greatly needed by this City, a reality,
and •
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute •
this resolution in duplicate and cause one copy of same to
be presented to MR. JACK TAYLOR as an expression of gratitude
on the part of the citizens of Miami Beach.
