RESOLUTION NO. 79-15907
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING CITY-
WIDE RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE PLAN AND
FLAMINGO PARK MASTER PLAN SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
AMENDMENTS RECOMMENDED BY THE PLANNING BOARD
OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has previously retained
consultants to prepare a City-wide Recreation and Open Space
Plan and a Flamingo Park Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, said consultants have prepared their reports;
and
WHEREAS, said reports have been reviewed by the Planning
Board of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, which has recommended •
the adoption of said reports, subject to certain amendments thereto
contained in the Planning Department' s Staff report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City-wide Recreation
and Open Space Plan and the Flamingo Park Master Plan be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted subject to the amendments
recommended by the Planning Board and Planning Department staff
of said City which amendments are hereby incorporated into said
plans.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of May, 1979 .
