A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN LAURIE HOLTZ AND THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FOR THE TRANSFER OF
TITLE AND OWNERSHIP OF VESSEL, SERIAL NO.
KL231387 , TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, WITH-
OUT COST TO THE CITY, TO BE USED FOR PROPER
POLICE PURPOSES, AS PART OF ITS POLICE
MARINE PATROL PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Mr. Laurie Holtz has graciously offered to
donate a 1972 IMP "INCA" vessel, Serial No. KL231387 to the
City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, ownership of said vessel is being transfered
to the City of Miami Beach with the understanding that the City
proposes to use said vessel for proper police purposes, as part
of its Police Marine Patrol Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration has expressed a need
for the use of said vessel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor on behalf of the
City of Miami Beach, gratefully accept the gift of said vessel from
Laurie Holtz, without cost to the City, with the understanding that
the City proposes to use said vessel for proper police purposes - as
part of its Police Marine Patrol Program;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
the said agreement in the- name of and on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach.
