A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY, A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION
OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, FOR THE OPERATION RE-ENTRY
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, on June 20, 1979, the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach did unanimously vote to continue the Operation Re-Entry
contract with Metropolitan Dade County for the period of July 1, 1979,
through June 30,1980.
WHEREAS, the City has been advised that Metropolitan Dade
County has approved a grant in the amount of $99,912.00 for said
Operation Re-Entry Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said grant offer from Metropolitan
Dade County is hereby accepted; and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the contract,
a copy of which is included in the City Clerk's records of the meeting at
which this resolution has been adopted, pertaining to the Operation Re-Entry
'Program.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of July , 1979.
