ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PERSONNEL BOARD ELECTION,
GROUP 3 EMPLOYEES, HELD ON July 24, 1979
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Clerk and Inspectors who conducted the runoff Election held
on July 24. 1979 , for the purpose of electing a Regular
member from Group 3 of the City employees to serve on
the. Personnel Board; and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said
returns and certificates,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of said City that it hereby adopts said Certificate as the
result of said runoff Election, and does hereby declare the
member from Group 3 elected to the Personnel Board, as
follows:
GROUP 3 KENNETH E. FORREST (Elected by
69 votes
out of 137
cast, being a clear
majority at the
Election)
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of August , 1979.

COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify,
in duplicate, that we held and conducted an election of the
members of Group 3 of the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
at City Hall 1700 Convention Center Drive (Lobby area) , on
July 24, 1979 _, for the purpose of electing a member of the
Personnel Board to represent Group 3 that at the close of the
polls we proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots,
and found the result of said Election as conducted by us to be
as follows, which result we then publicly proclaimed.
That there was a total of 137 votes cast.
69 votes were cast for KENNETH E. FORREST
68 votes were cast for HAROLD J. WILSON
