A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH ZURWELLE-
WFITTAKSR, INC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF SURVEYING SERVICES FOR
WASHINGTON AVENUE REVITALIZATION FROM 5TH TO 17TH STREETS,
HN-400".
WHEREAS, the City of Miami. Beach and Zurwelle-Whittaker, Inc. desire to
enter into an Amendment to the Contract for the purposes of surveying services for
Washington Avenue Revitalization from 5th to 17th Streets; and
WHEREAS, the City. Commission of the City of Miami Beach passed and adopted
Resolution No. 79-15934, authorizing execution of a Contract with Zurwelle-Whittaker
Inc. for surveying services for Washington Avenue from 5th to 17th Streets; and
WHEREAS, said project is being funded from Community Development Block
Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, as a condition to receiving said funds, the Department of Housing
and Urban Development requires that certain language be incorporated into any
contract using Community Development Block Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, said language was not incorporated in the initial contract with
Zurwelle.-Whittaker, Inc. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY: 'OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and d irctcd to execute the Amendment to Contract with Zurwelie-Whittaker,
Inc. in the name of and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
